Finding our own place.

This can mean something different to everyone that reads it.  Many of us will read the phrase, "finding our own place" and think about a home of their own, the right career choice, the perfect city or town that suits them best.

And to each of us this will be the right meaning.  The simple truth is that it means something just a little bit different to everyone.

For me it's a combination of places, feelings, thoughts and ideas.  Sometimes, just standing in my backyard looking at the scenery makes me feel like I'm in my own place.  Sometimes, it's in the driver's seat of my car slipping through the mountains as I make my way to the city for a meeting.  Sometimes, it's even sitting in the airport waiting for a connection, marveling at the people around me, thinking of the aviation pioneers and professionals who've made my flights possible, and thinking of what awaits at my next stop.

There are times when I'll look at my family and the chaotic swirl of joyful activity that encircles us and feel more than anything that I've found my place.

Where's your place?  When or why or how do you most feel like you're there?

Think good thoughts...
Be nice..
Peace
